Dear Working Tech Mom,

15 Jan

In response to the comment you left me: I’m here, I’m here! I have been working on a very large project at work. It’s a culmination of data from the last 5 years and I get to turn it into a report real people can comprehend. Normally a project this size would get 3 to 6 months for completion. I had one month…during the holidays.  I’m not going to lie, it is kicking my butt. I’ve been working 10 and 11 hour days, then trying to uphold some semblance of normalcy for my daughter at home. Either way, my final draft (26 pages!) is complete now and I am through round 1 of about 5 editing stages.  I will be back sooner than later. I’ve actually found myself fantasizing about my blog. I have a long word document of ideas and quotes I’ve jotted down so as not to lose them. I am so excited to have the chance to put them up here.

In the meantime, I have been keeping up on reading my favorite people while I’m on break at work, though I am not allowed to reply from those computers (Boo that!). AND, I miss blogging!!!!!!! I miss replying.  I’ll be back soon 🙂

P.S . It means so much that you checked on me!!!!

You are the best. i love reading your blog and was surprised to see my name in lights. I have had a Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Week. (do you know that storybook about Alexander who woke up with gum in his hair and his day went downhill from there)

As I am catching up tonight on all your posts, I am enjoying your letters as much as ever.

Hugs to you and wishing you and the daughter a fabulous week-end!

I love that book! I forgot about that quote. It’s a goodie. I’m sorry you had “that” week. I hope it gets better!
